Moons feature heavily in children’s poetry, rhymes and stories - this one is a favourite nighttime song in our home:

“I see the moon, the moon sees me,
Under the shade of the old oak tree,

This cute doll is tucked into a pocket on the crescent moon - three hand appliquéd stars decorate the night sky. The little itty baby pops out of her pocket ready for play. Handmade by me using only the finest pure wool felt - the doll is made from super soft cotton velour with hand painted details.

The moon and sky circle measures approximately 10 cm diameter, the little baby is approximately 6 cm tall. Please note that the felt pocket is slightly concave to be more tactile in the hand and therefore doesn’t lie completely flat.
